Blackcomb Lodge could not be closer to the fun and excitement of Whistler Village. Restaurants, shops, the cinema and bars surround the hotel and the Gondolas that whisk you to Blackcomb or Whistler Mountain are a brief 2-min walk through the pedestrian village.
The Blackcomb Lodge underwent a multi-million dollar renovation last summer, so after a fantastic day trying out your parallels, you can chill out and soothe your weary muscles in the newly renovated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Then you can enjoy superb dining and an award-winning wine selection at the Araxi restaurant, where classic French and Italian techniques are combined in great style, leading The Times to tag the place "unquestionably the best restaurant in Whistler!" The resort enjoys lively après-ski with a great range of restaurants and bars to explore. High on our list are Longhorn at Whistler which is packed until the early hours, while the Dubh Linn Gate Irish pub is great for live music and Black's is lovely for a slightly quieter drink.
