Owned and run by the Lafaurie family since
1966, this place has a charming, laid-back vibe and an
emphasis on personal service. Long Bay started as a Hotel,
very early on, being family run it became more like an Inn.
Adding many additional facilities and services over the
years, it has developed into the small unique Caribbean Hotel,
Inn & Resort it is today. Theres fine dining in Turtle restaurant
and casual lunches in the wonderfully located Beach House.
Where is it?
On a small peninsula, in 6 1/2 acres of grounds with a
beautiful white sand beach on one side, what a beach it is
too - one of the islands loveliest, and a bay, where the
rooms are, on the other. Transfer time from airport: 35 min.
Eats and drinks
The Beach House restaurant & bar are located directly on
the beach at Long Bay serving light varied lunches,
omelettes, salads, burgers, local fish and snacks. The bar
offers cool drinks delivered to you while you relax in a
lounge chair on the beach. The Cuisine offered in our Turtle
restaurant is quite a surprise. Unlike many a Resort Dining
experience, the choices offered are varied & interesting.
The chefs have all been trained at Johnson & Wales as well as
at the Culinary Institute of America.

Facilities
Tennis court (bring your equipment!), FREE kayaks,
windsurfing and sailing on bay side. Scuba diving and
water-skiing (local charge). FREE snorkelling equipment
(reef just off beach to explore). Lots of beach loungers and
parasols. Library and games room with pool table, table
tennis, darts and board games. Turtle restaurant (breakfast
and dinner) in main house. The Beach House restaurant
(open-air, lunch). Regular entertainment.

20 rooms in one 2-storey building on the bay side, all
overlooking the bay. All rooms have a ceiling fan and a
balcony or terrace. Rooms sleep max 2 adults.

The Bays Edge upper rooms are on the second floor and
have a ceiling fans.
