Over 200 pristine white-sand islands and 700 cays make up the Bahamas. We take you to a few of the best, and of course you can take day trips to others such as Exuma, where you search out iguanas and wild boar! The climate is mild year-round, the beaches are excellent and there's plenty to do - one day you can be snorkelling over the famous wreck from the movie Thunderball, the next you can be feeding sharks! New Providence is home to the Bahamas' pastel painted capital, Nassau, and it's also where you'll find many of our hotels, on famous Cable Beach. Connected to the island by a road bridge is Paradise Island, home of the amazing Atlantis resort and casino. In contrast Grand Bahama has a more peaceful, laid back feel. There are incredible beaches, huge stretches of sand with safe shallow bathing (ideal for kids.
