...the Caribbean's loveliest mountain scenery!...
In a nutshell
This volcanic island is covered in lush vegetation and beautiful, flowering trees line the roadsides. Most of the hotels are on the North-West coast, so we highly recommend you take some excursions around the island to fully appreciate its beauty. The famous Pitons are an essential stop, and nearby is the sinus-clearing drive-in volcano and the attractive botanical gardens where all manner of plant life flourishes. To get up close and personal with this island, how about renting a mountain bike and really exploring the spectacular scenery? The island is home to leatherback turtles some of which come ashore between mid-March and September to nest. You may be lucky enough to meet them, as well as the visiting whales. Rodney Bay has several bars and restaurants where you'll find live music, and plenty going on.
