... this small chain of islands has something of a castaway feel to it...
In a nutshell
Lying between Florida and the Dominican Republic, this small chain of islands and tiny cays is a British Crown Colony and has something of a castaway feel. The hotels we have chosen for you are on an amazing 12-mile long beach at Grace Bay on the island of Providenciales, known locally as 'Provo'. Humpback whales can be spotted just offshore between January and March, and at any time of year, swimmers should keep an eye out for the island's most famous resident - Jo-Jo the friendly bottle-nosed dolphin. The snorkelling is fabulous, with one of the world's longest coral reefs to discover. Pleasures are pure and simple here. Mainly you'll spend your days on the beach, exploring the other islands of the chain, and generally relaxing. It's the sort of place that people return to again and again.
