In a nutshell
With one of the highest peaks on the US ski circuit, Breckenridge provides excellent skiing facilities for intermediates and beginners, with plenty to keep the more advanced skiers amused. Other nearby resorts to sample include Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. The lift passes extend to those places and expand your downhill opportunities. Breckenridge itself is a restored Victorian mining town with some attractive buildings. There are over 100 restaurants and a lively aprs-ski atmosphere. For shopaholics, the Silverthorne factory outlets are just 30 minutes away.
Eats & drinks
Very good straight off the slopes. Breckenridge Brewery and Tiffany's are popular. Sample the atmosphere of traditional Wild West bars, you could even try your hand at line dancing! With over 50 restaurants, all tastes and moods are catered for!

Getting around
FREE shuttle buses run up and down the main street. There is a bus service from Breckenridge to nearby towns, Silverthorne factory outlets and other ski areas.
