The Grand Ole Opry, where Elvis once wowed the crowds, is an American institution and you can attend live radio performances several times a week. It is now part of the Opryland™ complex. Those interested in the pre-Civil War South should tread the Tennessee Antebellum Trail, a collection of historic sites that captures perfectly the days of Southern belles.

The Parthenon at Centennial Park
An exact replica of Athens ancient temple, the Parthenon is a breathtaking sight. An added bonus is its permanent art collection and visiting exhibits.
Belle Meade Plantation
A tour round this beautiful house will give you a fascinating insight into life on a plantation in the mid 19th century. Jazz concerts are held on the lawn in summer and there is a restaurant.
Country Music Hall of Fame
This wonderful 3-level museum in downtown Nashville is a wonderful introduction to the city's rich musical history.
Getting around
