In Plymouth, Massachussetts;
In a nutshell
Plymouth Rock marks the spot where our forefathers landed and, to this day, the 'Mayflower' rocks gently in the harbour with pilgrims still aboard happy to tell you about their crossing! Nearby is another faithful replica, the 'Plimoth Plantation' where you can meet even more brave adventurers together with their friends the Indians whose kindness kept them alive during the first years. Although there's lots of fascinating history in Plymouth, it's not short on modern treasures either. The location is good, just 50 miles south of Boston and it has 5 beaches! There's also 'Cranberry World', a 'Supersports Family Funpark' and plenty of opportunity for shopping.
