Naples is known as the finest town in Florida and not for nothing.

It's the winter retreat of wealthy northerners, and a wonderful selection of top-class shopping and great restaurants have sprung up to satisfy them (and you!). The beach is, of course, long and beautiful with soft white sand, and the sunsets are marvellous. Nightlife is rich and varied, with everything from pubs and comedy clubs to sophisticated wine bars and fine restaurants. When you're not out buying Gucci and Prada you can be exploring the Everglades for the day, or enjoying a round of golf.

Nearby Marco Island is very special, Florida's largest island and perhaps its most pristine and unspoiled. Strict planning laws mean there are only 4 hotels, and we have 2 of them. We also have fantastic private houses. There are bird and nature sanctuaries on the island, and they breed rare turtles here. Waterside inns serving the catch of the day, shelling expeditions, dolphin spotting and fine dining are some of the pleasures available to you here. Don't forget to visit the island next door, Capri, with its famous Blue Heron pub.
