In a nutshell
St Pete Beach is a very popular, lively resort, with plenty of family restaurants, shopping and entertainment. There are lots of boat cruises to some of the nearby, uninhabited barrier islands including Fort Desoto where popular activities include shelling, snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy capturing some of the native wildlife on film! Take one of our excursions aboard the Hakuna Matata (meaning: no worries for the rest of your life!) and you'll experience the wonder of a wild dolphin encounter! Back on dry land discover downtown St Petersburg, where you will find a bit of culture, including the renowned Salvador Dali Museum. A visit to the world famous Pier, a waterfront entertainment district, and the new Bay Walk - the place to see and be seen - has all kinds of shopping, dining and entertainment. Don't forget, there's a fantastic, long beach here in St Pete Beach itself for swimming, water sports and generally having a great beachside experience.
