Enjoy good old-fashioned Southern hospitality at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Every member of the family, from the very young to the very old, will love the relaxing Big Easy atmosphere, as well as taking a ride on the riverboats along Mississippi-style waterways. Down at the French Quarter, the ornate architecture of New Orleans comes alive with intricate railings, cobblestone streets and courtyards filled with flowers. Mardi Gras festive fun can be had at the Doubloon Lagoon, serving Creole delicacies and colourful cocktails. On days off from the parks, there are 7 swimming pools to enjoy, as well as bicycle and boat rentals. The 1.6km jogging trail along the Sassagoula River also provides a great opportunity for the family to combine keep fit with a little sightseeing!
