Out of town, there's fantastic mountain biking, white-water rafting and swimming. In winter, nearby Taos is a world-class ski centre. Santa Ana is a Native American settlement, home to the Pueblo tribe who have embraced visitors whole-heartedly. Stay in the fabulous Hyatt hotel and sample Pueblo culture. Try Native American cooking, learn to make adobe with your hands, and hear the stories of the ancients by firelight.
Back in the modern world, you can enjoy a round on the golf course and visit the casino.
