In a nutshell
Boom! In 2001 Disneyland Park, the original Disney theme park, doubled in size, adding Disney's California Adventure Park right next door! Within it's hallowed portals there are 3 lands to discover, including Paradise Pier featuring the California Screamin' roller coaster. On top of all this, there's another fantastic development called Downtown Disney. Connected to the parks, it provides the ultimate experience in dining and entertainment with great places like the House of Blues, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen and the Rainforest caféé.
