This busy south-coast hotel, which has recently added a new wing of rooms, has all kinds of stuff going on. The central pool has a sunken bar, plus there's a hidden cave and shallow bank that kids love. There are 3 restaurants, and the St Lawrence Gap nightlife area is a 5-min taxi ride.
Special nights feature live jazz, barbecues and even fire-eating.
Where is it?
On beautiful Accra Beach, on the south coast. 10 min to Bridgetown. 5 min to St Lawrence Gap. Transfer time from airport: 20 min.
Eats and drinks
3 restaurants: The Fig Tree for light lunchtime snacks, Wytukai, the island's only Polynesian restaurant, and the Coco Patch Restaurant for Caribbean and international cuisine. The Sand Bar and the Lagoon Bar for poolside drinks.
Entertainment
Different events 5 nights a week, from an open-air barbecue with live band and floor show, to the manager's cocktail party with steel pan and karaoke.

Island View Rooms are in both wings, those in the new wing do not have a balcony and face on to the road, sleeping max 2 adults and 1 child. The hotel has a new non smoking policy in all guest rooms.
Room Upgrade
Pool View Rooms - are in the original wing and tend to be quieter than the Island View Rooms with the same facilities but overlook the pool, with 2 double beds, sleeping 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Ocean View Rooms - also in the original wing, with wonderful views of the sea, king-size or twin beds, sleeping max 3 adults, or 3 adults and 1 child . Junior Suites - in the original wing, consist of 1 large room with an additional seating area and island view, with 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa.
