Designated a national treasure of Barbados, the Island Inn Hotel was originally a Rum storage facility for the British Regiment! Whilst rum may still be in plentiful supply, it has been completely renovated to offer perhaps the most intimate all-inclusive hotel experience on the island. With only 24 rooms and suites, it’s perfect for those who enjoy a less crowded atmosphere. Service and attention to detail is second to none and the atmosphere is decidedly warm and relaxed. The beach at beautiful Carlisle Bay is just a two minute walk away. Take advantage of your free scuba diving demo in the pool before hitting the big blue, discovering an underwater world that’s just as beautiful as what lies above! The swimming pool makes a change from the beach and is a charming place to lounge beside, soaking up the sun or reading a good book. There’s also The Boardwalk Restaurant for eclectic dining, serving dishes regarded as very special by locals and guests alike. Evenings tend to be very low key although there is live music and folklore shows occasionally plus a weekly manager’s rum punch party to meet and mingle with fellow guests.

Room Upgrade
Superior Garden View Rooms are located in either the original historic building or in the southern block of the hotel with views over the garden, sleeps max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Superior Pool View Rooms are located in the southern block of the hotel with easy access to the swimming pool, sleeps max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Junior Suite has a separate sitting area and patio with garden and or partial pool views and sleep max 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
