Hotel information

This friendly hotel is set on one of the most popular beaches in Barbados with soft white sand lapped by crystal-clear waters on the lively South Coast. It is within walking distance of the action of St Lawrence Gap and just a short drive to the great shopping in Bridgetown. The hotel takes full advantage of its position next to the lovely beach with an array of non-motorised water sports, which is sure to keep the most active amused. If you want nothing more than to relax in the sunshine, you can grab a beer at the beachfront bar or pull up a lounger around the pools on one of their pleasant sun terraces and sit back with a good book! In the evenings, relax while the kids are having a blast at the late evening kids’ club, allowing you to enjoy the tasty continental and local cuisine from the beachfront or à la carte restaurants. On Sandy Bay Beach in Worthing on Barbados’ South Coast – known for its bustling entertainment – 10 min to Bridgetown and 10 min to Barbados Golf Club. Surrounded by shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Transfer time from airport: 25 min.

Eats and drinks

Beachfront Buckaneers restaurant offers buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hidden Treasure Restaurant offers à la carte dining (reservations required, available 3 nights per week). Beach Bar serving snacks and drinks between 10.00am-10.00pm. Room service* available between 7.30am-9.30pm.

Entertainment

Regular live entertainment including beach barbecues, local floor shows, live bands and manager's rum punch party. There are several popular bars and a nightclub close by the hotel, which can be noisy on weekends and bank holidays.

Fun and games

Freshwater swimming pools, non-motorised water sports: kayaks, pedalos, snorkelling and boogie boards. Golf and fitness centre are available nearby*. Supervised Kids’ Club open from 9.00am to 9.00pm, weekly movie on the beach and a pool room. Teen Club Room for ages 12 years and upwards with a library, table tennis, DVD player, PlayStation® 2, computer, board and card games. The Pyjama Club meets once a week from 6.00pm until 9.00pm, so the grown-ups can enjoy dinner on their own!

All with air-conditioning (bedroom only in apartments), cable TV, radio, telephone, tea/coffee maker, fridge, safety deposit box (local charge of BD$5 per day), iron and board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms are very small with slatted windows onto the hotel corridor without a scenic view, 1 queen-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping max 2 persons.

1-Bedroom Apartments – have a garden, pool or ocean view and balcony/terrace, ceiling fan, a separate bedroom and living room with a sleeper sofa, sleeping 3 adults, or 2 adults and up to 3 children. They may be split level. 2-Bedroom Apartments – have a garden, pool or ocean view, and 2 separate bedrooms and living room with ceiling fan, sleeping 5 adults, or 3 adults and up to 3 children. They may be split level.
