Tucked away in a quiet resort on the picturesque West Coast of Barbados, The Palms Resort is made up of two nearby apartment complexes – the Halcyon Palm and Travellers Palm. Each offering well-equipped accommodation. Halcyon Palm is the larger of the two with 1-bedroom apartments nestled around tropical gardens and a swimming pool. Travellers Palm, although slighly smaller than Halcyon Palm, is where the main reception is and another pool. You can probably already picture yourself chilling out by the pool with a cocktail in your hand, soaking up the sound of the tropics. The nearest beach is a short 10-min stroll away, where you can dip your toes into the Caribbean Sea or take a stroll on the beachfront boardwalk. At Travellers Palm you'll find a small café and bar serving breakfast and light meals throughout the day. You'll also be spoilt for choice in the local Holetown area which has a good selection of bars and eateries serving everything from Italian, Chinese, pizzas and local Bajan specialities to top notch 5-star restaurants.
Where is it?
In the quiet resort area of Sunset Crest, on the west coast of Barbados. The beach is a pleasant 10-min walk with historic Holetown a short drive away. Shops, bars, restaurants and duty-free shopping are all easily accessible on foot. Transfer time from airport: 40 min.
Eats and drinks
Small café and bar serving breakfast and light meals throughout the day (located at Travellers Palm). Bar. Guests of The Palms can use the Beach House facilities (just minutes away) which include a fresh water pool, bar, restaurant and access to the beach and the new West Coast boardwalk.
Entertainment
Manager’s cocktail party 1 night a week from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
Fun and games
Swimming pool, sunbathing deck. Floodlit tennis* courts located in the resort area. Water sports* including parasailing, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, high speed power boat rides are available at a nearby beach. Golf* available nearby.

Halcyon Palm has 25 apartments and Travellers Palm has 16 apartments. All with ceiling fan, balcony, separate bedroom, living room, kitchenette with microwave and coffee maker, cable TV, telephone, high-speed Internet access*, safety deposit box*, iron and board, and hairdryer. Air-conditioning is available for a surcharge. Both complexes offer pool and garden views. 1-bedroom apartments with twin beds, sleeps max 3 persons.
