Decorated in colonial style and combining traditional and modern elements, Oasis Playa Coco certainly lives up to its name, providing a tropical retreat from everyday life.
As well as unrivalled snorkelling and scuba diving, there are several splendid beaches nearby, including Flamencos Beach, Pilar Beach and the wonderfully entitled Forbidden Beach. If you fancy a break from the beach, relax by the large lagoon style pool instead or grab an opponent for a game of tennis! Alternatively, there’s mini golf, a multi-purpose sports field and water sports in abundance. Kids will love their very own mini club complete with play area and mini disco. There’s also a children’s swimming pool so they can splash to their hearts content. Japanese and Italian cuisine can be enjoyed in the resort restaurants, alongside the freshest of seafood served at the beach grill.
Where is it?
In Cayo Coco, on the Jardines del Rey archipelago, off the central part of the island and separated from the mainland by a 17 km stone road over turquoise waters. The worlds’ longest coral reef is just off shore and the beach is 2 kms long. Transfer time from airport: 20 min.
