Virgin Holidays View
This is a place where you forget time, routine and protocol, and focus instead on the natural beauty of these volcanic Caribbean islands. It’s not a surprise to discover that Laluna is the vision of an intrepid Italian; Bernardo Bertucci arrived here and fell in love with the island. His hotel creation is far more colourful and ethnic than any of the other hotels, with a décor and design much more in tune with the surrounding jungle. Laluna is for people who embrace the chance to escape to a bungalow disguised by the verdant green of a tropical island, just above a beach that is hidden away for all but the guests of the property.
With this Italian pedigree it’s no surprise that the menu is authentically Italian, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and Limoncello have been imported plus a 10,000 strong wine cellar – yet the setting is a pure Caribbean, a thatched 36 seat restaurant right on the beach. There is also a sunset maximising cocktail bar for beach and poolside lounging. There is also a strong eastern influence particularly at the Asian Spa complete with Balinese products, tatami mat room for Shiatsu treatments and a tea bar.
Where is it?
This hotel is the ‘outsider’ on Grenada. For starters, it’s the only place not on Great Anse Beach. Just above a beach that is hidden away for all but the guests of the property.

Italian beachfront restaurant with international cuisine. Wine cellar with 10,000 bottles. Beachfront lounge bar serving cocktails and snacks. In-room dining until 9:00pm available on your private veranda.
Fun and games
The Asian Spa has a full menu of full body and facial treatments, including Balinese specialties, couples room, wet room, tea bar and health library.
A very special yoga pavilion was added to Laluna on the beachfront, the view could not be any better and every day you can try a different style of yoga or Pilates.
If you want to get a little active, mountain bikes, Hobie cats and snorkelling are complimentary and we wouldn’t miss the hike through rainforest to the seven sisters waterfalls.

The 16 private guest cottages are designed in an open-style plan to take advantage of the view. All have the Laluna signature open bathroom with ocean views, ipod docks, TV and air conditioning. Spacious yet also very cosy, the décor has both Central American and Asian influences. Balinese four poster king bedrooms open to a private plunge pool and large veranda framed in natural cotton fabric that serves as an indoor/outdoor living room. Perfectly romantic and perfectly tropical.
Cottage Suites are semi detached and are situated at the highest level on the hillside with great views and approximately 60 steps to the beach.
Deluxe Cottages are free standing, and located above the beach on the hillside approx 30 steps from the beach.
Beach Front Deluxe Cottages are located directly on the beach only 40 feet from the waters edge and have their own private lawn.
2-Bedroom cottages are also available with some of the properties finest views (sleeps 4)
