Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa is a firm favourite with Virgin Holidays and it’s not hard to see why! Directly on the beach, 5-min walk to Ocho Rios. Transfer time from Montego Bay airport: 1 hour 45 min.

5 swimming pools, 1 children’s splash and play pool and the Lighthouse Waterslide, which has two chutes (one of which is the tallest in Jamaica at a height of 60ft). 2 floodlit tennis courts, table tennis, non-motorised water sports: kayaks, paddleboats and snorkelling. Water sports are operated by an external company, not the hotel. Beach volleyball, daily organised activities, Club Mongoose for kids (2-7 years), Jamstone for kids (8-12 years), Jamrock teen centre. 730 rooms on up to 14 floors in 2 towers with 3 lifts per tower. Resort rooms all have balcony with views of the resort and/or Ocho Rios town, air-conditioning, TV, safety deposit box* (refundable deposit), kettle, iron and board and hairdryer. All rooms have 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
Room Upgrade
Oceanview Rooms-enjoy mountain and partial sea views.
Oceanfront Rooms- face the ocean and benefit from spectacular sea views.
Beachfront Cabana Rooms – are located in the Cabana Wing along the beachfront with king-size bed and patios or balcony, sleeping 2 adults only.
1-Bedroom Suites – situated on the corner of the South Pointe tower and have a master bedroom and separate sitting room with 2 balconies and fantastic beachfront views. Suites sleep a max of 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Minimum stay
3 nights except over Christmas and New Year when it is 7.
