Where is it?
Located on the 'Nature Coast' of Florida, New Port Richey is a delightful city surrounded by unspoiled countryside and an abundance of wildlife. Water sports are top priority or take a boat ride along the Cotee River to admire the jungle and its inhabitants. Historians should head to Brooksville, a picturesque town rich in Civil War relics.
Beautiful powdery white beaches combined with year-round sunshine make Sarasota a perfect holiday destination. Outdoor activities such as diving and cycling are popular, as are nature walks in state parks and botanical gardens. Cultural buffs will enjoy museums, art galleries, ballet, theatre and opera. Shopping in St Armand's Circle is another favourite pastime.
