The area of Santa Rosa Beach, is usually one of those hidden treasures that you stumble across on your travels. The long stretch of beach is simply dazzling, perfect for dreaming the days away and the aptly named town, Watercolor, is one of Florida's' oldest. A tiny town with chic boutiques and a cake and coffee house, it's perfect for those truly 'away from it all' holidays.
Santa Rosa Beach is located on Florida's North West coast on the Panhandle, 20 miles West of Tallahassee.
If you choose to do a little exploring, Eden Gardens State Park is near by at the historical Point Washington. The magnificent 18th century mansion is picture postcard, or you can take a stroll around the ornamental gardens, have a picnic, or follow one of the nature trails.
