The Tides describes itself as the Diva of Ocean Drive. It is certainly the most glamorous and luxurious of all the hotels that line this strip.
Architecturally, The Tides is a well conserved example of Miami’s 1930s Art Deco signature yet with a stunning new interior designed by Kelly Wearstler. With its distinct combination of elegant furniture, vintage pieces and unusual textures (think tortoise shell, shark skin, birch, etc), it is, possibly, the most stylish on Ocean Drive. The Tides also has the pre-eminent location at the end closest to Lincoln Mall and to the buzz of Collins Street, yet it is still only a short stroll to the café’s, bars, and shops that have made Ocean Drive the draw card it is today.
The single most desirable feature of the rooms is that they all face the ocean. Some also have very glamorous terraces and they are amongst the largest in South Beach.

On Ocean Drive, across the street from the beach, located in the historical Art Deco District of South Beach. Within blocks of upscale boutiques, restaurants and bars.

35 Oceanfront Studio Suites are located on floors 2-5 (approx 550 sq ft), Neutral tones that blend art deco style with beach cottage elegance. With views straight out to the ocean, there’s also a living room with more of the quirky design you would -petrified wood accent tables, a sleek sofa, a faux zebra skin rug and an overstuffed leather chair.
7 Premier Oceanfront Suites are located on floors 2-8 and (approx 580 sq ft). These corner accommodations offer sweeping wraparound views of the Atlantic coastline. Each suite includes a decent sized living room area, within an open floor plan.
