Amelia Island is Florida’s highest ranked island destination, and has been for 3 years now. With that introduction, it’s hard to know where to start! With 13 miles of immaculate beaches, tranquil waters and wildlife aplenty, just when you think it can’t get anymore spectacular, it does!

Amelia Island is located on the coast of North East Florida and is just over 3.5 hours from Orlando airport. Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and St Augustine are all on route, what a perfect reason to explore more of North East Florida!

Known as the Isle of Eight Flags, Amelia Island has a fascinating and somewhat turbulent passed. As the last Spanish town in the Western Hemisphere, the Victorian architecture of the old town is testimony to the Pirates, Indians and noble men that inhabited it.
