The hotel is right on that glorious white sand, and they try to give all Virgin Holidaymakers a room overlooking it. This is an attractive, well-run and well-equipped resort, with a selection of eateries. Rusty's provides wonderful breakfasts and gourmet dinners. There's fine seafood and steaks in the Island Grill and you'll always find a good atmosphere and drinks' specials in the Mainstay Tavern. Just across the road are the Shoppes of Sand Key, an area that includes more great restaurants to try.

Getting around
'Suncoast Trolley' picks up regularly at the resort and provides a hop-on, hop-off service from Clearwater to St Pete Beach for approx $3.50. Free self-parking.
