This palatial hotel is one of the best in town and it is fabled as much for its grandiose architecture as its superb array of facilities, excellent service and choice of gourmet dining.
The new Spa Oceana has 16 treatment rooms and a rooftop terrace offering fabulous views over the Gulf of Mexico. By day you can relax on the beach or enjoy a wide range of activities, from tennis and golf to a selection of water sports. And you're spoilt for choice with the dining options by night. For gourmet cuisine, head to Maritana Grille, while for more casual fare there's the Beachcomber Grille and Sea Porch Café. In early evening, everyone gathers at Sunsets Bar to enjoy perfectly mixed sundowner cocktails and friendly chat. The rooms are compact but absolutely delightful – with period-style features in the main hotel building.
