Destination information
Lake Buena Vista, located to the south west of Orlando, is a pleasantly landscaped and manicured area with green lawns and spotless pavements creating a relaxed holiday ambience. It's also incredibly close to WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort and the magnificent DOWNTOWN DISNEY entertainment complex. As well as some great shopping centres, there are water parks, a mini-golf course and sporting opportunities galore!
Fun and Games
Lake Buena Vista is so close to WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort that you could almost touch it, so it goes without saying that the Disney parks are the main attraction here. However, that’s not all there is, how about driving your own race car at Richard Petty’s Driving Experience for the ultimate thrill? Or head down to Fun Spot Action Park which features go-karts, amusement rides and arcades.
Eating Out
There’s something for everyone with family favourites such as TGI Friday’s®, Planet Hollywood®, the Rainforest Café® and Jungle Jim’s. If you fancy some entertainment then there’s themed dining at Baskervilles. If fine dining is more your cup of tea, then make sure you head over to the Venetian Rooms or Victoria and Albert’s, both serving up an array of delicious cuisine.
Evening Entertainment
DOWNTOWN DISNEY is the nightlife hub of Lake Buena Vista with its wide selection of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment. Why not take in a show, Cirque Du Soleil® is an amazing mix of circus, acrobatics and music or perhaps you want to catch a movie at the 24-screen AMC DOWNTOWN DISNEY 24 movie theatre. There’s also DISNEYQUEST INDOOR INTERACTIVE Theme Park with its virtual reality, 3D encounters and classic video games from the past.
Not to be missed
Shop til you drop at Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores and save you up to 75% in shops such as Gap and Old Navy. There is also the Premium Outlets Mall featuring many designer brands such as Burberry, Diesel and Lacoste, all at discounted prices, a shopper’s paradise! A trip to the worlds largest Disney Store at DOWNTOWN DISNEY is a must, just remember to take your credit card!
Non drivers
We understand that even in the land that invented the automobile, not everyone likes to drive, so why not take our convenient FREE transfer coach from the airport to any hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area*.
*We regret our transfer coaches cannot drop off at the Sheraton Vistana Resort.
