Forever Florida - EcoSafaris

This 4700 acre eco-ranch and wildlife conservation area encompasses nine distinct ecosystems, beautifully preserved just as nature intended. You'll experience natural streams, forests, pastures, wetlands and learn about the wide array of Forever Florida's wildlife including alligators, black bears, white-tail deer and the endangered Florida panther.

Zipline Safari

Prepare yourself for a brand new tree-top nature tour like none other. This thrilling Zipline experience, the first and only of its kind in Florida, allows you the perfect aerial vantage point to learn about Florida's diverse ecosystems on a one-of-a-kind adventure. Along the two and a half hour journey, you'll soar through the tree tops, 55 feet off the ground, and make your way across sky-bridges while learning about Florida's natural flora and fauna from your expert guide.

The Knowledge: This experience lasts 2.5 hours but please allow 4 hours. Adults and children aged 10 years and up can participate, with a parent or guardian. Guests must be within the weight range of 70 to 275 pounds to participate. The safari involves physical activity and is recommended for guests in good health. A signed waiver is required by all guests.

Horseback Safari

Forever Florida boasts some of the best horseback riding in Central Florida. The historic trails were first travelled on horseback by Native Americans back in the 1500's. Enjoy two hours of scenic riding through the 4700 acre Forever Florida wildlife conservation area covering 9 distinct Florida ecosystems. The adventure includes a trip through the headwaters of Bull Creek and a relaxing stop at a beautiful boardwalk in the middle of Florida's wilderness. Your expert guide is there to help you find your way to the best spots and to make sure you don't miss a single opportunity to spot wildlife. Horses are personally matched to each individuals personality and level of riding experience so first-timers are welcome!

The Knowledge: Adults and Children age 12 years and over can participate, with a parent or guardian, as first time riders. Children as young as 10 can participate with a parent or guardian if the child has previous riding experience. Maximum weight of 275 pounds to participate and all guests will be required to sign a waiver.

Get ready for your wild Florida adventure. Enjoy a two hour journey into real Florida beginning with a trip through a picturesque Florida ranch, featuring a living museum of Spanish Colonial Cattle and Florida's unique Cracker Horses. Your eco-safari will take you on an adventure deep into the 4700 acre Forever Florida wildlife conservation area preserved just as nature intended. This pristine site boasts 9 distinct Florida ecosystems. Your expert guide will get you up-close to everything as you make your way over land and water onboard our special open-air safari coaches, elevated 5 feet off the ground for a fantastic view of everything. Hold on to your seat and get your cameras ready for the Florida photo-safari of a lifetime.

*Please note: For all tours dress appropriately to enjoy your adventure. That typically means wearing close-toed shoes, wearing a hat, sunglasses, long sleeves and long pants for some of our eco-tours. Also, bring plenty of water, maybe a snack, wear sunscreen and bring bug spray. Bringing a spare change of clothes, shoes and a towel is always encouraged.
