FREE Car Upgrade
Stay in a 5V Disney or Universal hotel during 2007 and you can upgrade FREE of charge up to a convertible or premium car. Guests at the Wynfield Inn can also enjoy a FREE one-car upgrade. Stay in a 3-4V Disney hotel and if your allocated car is a compact, we'll upgrade you to an intermediate - FREE of charge.
Next-day pick up
Pick up your car the next day and take our coach transfer from the airport to
your hotel. The next morning, Dollar will take you, at a time convenient to
you, to their nearest depot to pick up your car.

Fed up of long queues? Worried that it's all too complicated? We have our very own Virgin Holdiays' dedicated Dollar depot at Orlando International airport manned by specially trained Dollar staff, as well as our own Virgin Holidays' Representatives. Thy can answer all your questions and make sure that the process is simple and smooth, and that you get your own way as quickly as possible. In fact, you don't even have to wander round aisles looking for your car - they'll bring the car round to you!

Save precious time at the airport by taking advantage of this service from Dollar. Simply enter your details online before you go on holiday, which this will cut down on the time you have to spend at the counter on arrival so you make a quick getaway!

Want to pick up your car the next day? Take our coach transfer from the airport to your hotel; the next morning, simply call Dollar and they will make the necessary arrangements, so your included car will be ready for you to use whenever you need it! (Only applicable on package holidays.)

For complete peace of mind, Dollar offer 24-hour roadside assistance. We also have our very own Virgin Holidays' Representatives on hand to answer any questions or help you out should you need it!
FREE mileage and One Ways
If you’re planning to travel further afield, cars can be picked up and dropped at any of the Dollar depots in Florida with NO one way fee (excluding Port Canavarel) we also offer unlimited mileage so you can drive as much as you like with no additional charges.
Upgrades FREE of charge
If the car we’ve allocated or you have booked is not available, you will
be upgraded FREE of charge.
24 hours to change your mind
If you purchase discretionary extras on arrival, then later decide you don’t
want them, no problem. Return to a Dollar depot within 24 hours of collecting
your car and the charge will be removed.
Returning your car – just for you, a little leeway!
Rentals are calculated on a 24-hour basis from time of collection. We have a special arrangement with Dollar where cars can be returned within a 2-hour grace period from the time the car was collected, just in case you get stuck in traffic. After this, an additional day or hour rate will apply, so get to the airport in good time!

Don’t forget your licence!
You need a full British one – an international driving licence is not
needed. There is no minimum time for having had a licence. You must have your
original with you and if you have the new-style photo card, then remember you will need to take both parts with you, not just the card. A faxed copy is not acceptable. You are not allowed to rent a car if you hold a US or Canadian Driving Licence, only a British or International driving licence will be acceptable.
Ok, so where’s the catch?
We like our pricing to be as transparent as possible, and yes, we’re being
honest there are obligatory extra costs involved in your car hire, such as taxes,
access fees and other charges. For more infomation please see the additional costs
section. We also highly recommend that you buy extra cover. But to stop it all
getting confusing, we offer a choice of 2 excellent pre-purchasable
insurance packages.
Over 21s only!
Remember, to hire a car in the USA you need to be a minimum of 21 years of age. If you are aged between 21-24 years, you will need to pay a Young Driver Surcharge locally unless you have pre-purchased our Platinum Package.
Driving Directions
We provide you with a driving directions guide in Orlando to help get you on your way. However, our friends at Dollar also offer portable satellite navigation units to hire. It is advisable to pre-book it in the UK, to not only take advantage of our great price but also to make sure there is one available for you on arrival! You must be taking either our Fully Inclusive or Platinum Package to be eligible for pre-booking sat nav.
Deposits and credit cards
If you have taken our Basic Package you will need to leave a deposit of USD15000. If you have taken our Fully Inclusive package then a deposit of USD100 is payable. If you have taken our Platinum package then no deposit is required.
All deposits must be left by credit card. If Sat Nav is taken then an additional deposit of USD700 is required on all packages.
