If you haven’t been to Orlando for a few years, or if you’re thinking of visiting for the first time, you couldn’t have chosen a better time to travel than in 2009. Those great theme parks that Orlando is famous for continue to offer something new for guests of all ages.
Aquatica™ the latest addition to the Worlds of Discovery Parks, which include SeaWorld® Orlando, Discovery Cove® Orlando and Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay has recently opened. The 59-acre water park immerses guests in a whimsical lush landscape inspired by the vivid colour, stunning flora and carefree personality of the South Sea Islands. It’s sure to be worth a visit or two!
Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay has opened a brand-new attraction, Jungala. Set in the Congo area of the park, the jungle-themed attraction invites you to discover exotic animals and explore a village in harmony with nature. The surroundings feature a towering 35ft rock formation as the centrepiece, a stunning waterfall, and a lush 3-storey tree canopy that you can explore on rope bridges. Beyond this lush habitat, you’ll also find some of the world’s most endangered animals, Bengal tigers and orangutans. There’s also a zip-line experience above the treetops for young adventurers and another signature ride that shoots guests up above a towering waterfall. Come and explore Jungala, only at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
“Woo-Hoo!” Careen and crash your way through Krustyland in Universal Orlando® Resort’s wild and hilarious new The Simpsons Ride™, based on FOX-TV’s long running animated series.
Join Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie as you pay a visit to Krustyland, the low-budget theme park created by famed TV personality and shameless product huckster Krusty the Clown. Is somebody out to sabotage the park? You’ll find out as you swoop, soar and smash your way through Krustyland’s array of kiddie attractions, stunt shows, thrill rides and more. Be sure to keep an eye out for many of your favorite characters from the TV series in this all-new animated adventure, which takes you to Krustyland, through Springfield and beyond… it’s the first-ever attraction based on the show!
The ride was created in collaboration with The Simpsons™ Creator and Executive Producer Matt Groening and Executive Producer James L. Brooks, and stars the voices of the show’s original cast.
