In Tremblant, ski holidays come with a little something extra – this is a North American ski resort with a touch of French! Located in the beautiful Laurentian Mountains of French-speaking Québec, Tremblant’s unique character, user-friendly approach and well-groomed slopes have earned it the title of number 1 ski resort in eastern North America for the past 8 years in a row. With over 600 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, this is the biggest ski resort in eastern Canada, and there’s something for every level of skier.

Beginners will want to check out the gentle 3.75-mile Nansen run, intermediates will have lots of tree-lined runs to choose from, and more practiced skiers will be thrilled by the 42-degree Dynamite Trail, the most challenging on Mont Tremblant. Skiing is only the start of the fun, though. Off the slopes, you can try your hand at dogsledding, ice climbing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The kids will love the evening horse-drawn sleigh ride, complete with hot chocolate and storyteller to guide you through the Tremblant legends. Aquaclub La Source is home to a large indoor pool, or head for one of the many spas for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment.

You can even see a good film at the resort's cinema or drop younger members of the family off at the Kidz Club - the ultimate daycare centre for 1-6 year olds with fun activities and non-stop action!

The village itself is lovely, built in traditional style with cobbled, traffic-free streets, pastel buildings and attractive squares. There are restaurants for all tastes and budgets and a French feel in the pâtisseries and cafés.

Après-ski
There’s a fabulous range of restaurants and bars in Tremblant. Ski to your heart’s content by day; enjoy the local hospitality by night! Sample fondues and queue de castor (a local treat). Dance with locals at the Café L'epoque or enjoy your favourite tipple at Le P'tit Caribou - voted best bar in eastern Canada! There is also a new Crêpes Bretonnes bar at the summit's Le Grand Manitou that's well worth checking out. Live music can be enjoyed in the main square during high season.
