In a nutshell
One of the fastest growing resorts in North America, it has won a number of awards and made it into the top 10! It's getting bigger and better every year, and there is an incredible variety of terrain. It ranges from steep and deep to smooth and gentle, making it suitable for skiers of all levels. What's more, skiers rave about the legendary powder - there's an average snowfall of 29ft!
At the base is the quaint city of Fernie, with plenty of amenities to please the entire family. It's an uncrowded resort with a respected ski school and good childcare. There's also a half-pipe and specialist park for boarders.
Après-ski
There's a good selection of friendly bars and restaurants in Fernie including the Griz Bar, Kelsey's Bar and Grill, Slopeside Coffee & Deli, Snow Creek Café, The Wood on the Hill and the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Getting around
There's a FREE evening shuttle to downtown Fernie, which is packed with restaurants and bars, making for some lively après-ski!
