South Lake Tahoe is a magical landscape of water, ice and mountain and whichever resort you choose in this area, it will more than live up to your expectations of skiing in California. But what’s really different about South Lake Tahoe is the unique glitzy feel of the place. It’s located astride the borders between California and Nevada, where gambling is legal.
