Squaw Valley skiing challenges experts with extreme steeps, chutes and bumps and spoils intermediates with a fabulous choice of open-bowl skiing and impeccably groomed runs, including a smooth top to bottom 3-mile cruise down the mountain. Beginners need not fear, however, as with all US ski resorts, the tuition here is first rate and 2 mountain areas are dedicated to them. Kids 12 years and under can learn in one of Squaw Valley's award-winning children's programmes.

Après ski
Squaw Valley offers numerous options for places to eat, drink and unwind, whether it's that much-needed early morning energy burst or a light bite at lunch to keep you going to the very last run of the day. In the evenings, you can get everything from pub grub at the Auld Dubliner to fine dining with unforgettable views.

internal flights: Take an internal flight from San Francisco or Las Vega to Reno Collect your car in Reno for
a quick 45-min drive to Squaw Valley or alternatively, purchase North Lake Tahoe Express tickets with us for £28 per person return. This shuttle will transfer you from Reno airport to your Squaw Valley hotel.
