Biggest ski area in the US!
In a nutshell
Colorado's best kept secret is out – Winter Park ski vacations are a laid back, affordable way to enjoy some of the best snow in the American Rockies! The four interconnected mountains and raised alpine bowl provide an unrivalled diversity of skiing, with lots and lots of snow. In fact, with nearly 30 feet of beautiful snow every season, Winter Park has the best snowfall record of all Colorado’s resorts. And Winter Park skiing is great for all levels.
The closest Colorado resort to Denver, it has 4 distinct mountains: Winter Park, Mary Jane (including Parsenn Bowl), Vasquez Cirque and Vasquez Ridge, all connected by a network of trails and lifts. Expert skiers will love the challenge of Vasquez Cirque, where you'll find the black runs Vasquez Ridge and Parsenn Bowl are great for intermediates. And beginners can learn everything they need to know in the gentle runs and trails of Discovery Park.
Après-ski
At Winter Park, ski vacations include an unpretentious and welcoming après-ski scene in the town. There’s a 'golden mile' of restaurants including Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Cajun - and even German! There are lots of places serving steaks, burgers and ribs, too. There's a silver-screen cinema, and live blues in Smokin' Moe's and other venues.
