Park City ski vacations are hugely enjoyable. Literally! The ski area is enormous, with 3 resorts: Park City, Deer Valley (skiers only) and The Canyons all covered under 1 ski pass. In 2002, the Winter Olympics were held in Park City. Ski packages include the opportunity for experts to experience the thrilling Olympic downhill slopes of Snowbasin. But beginners are also brilliantly catered for – there’s the appropriately named First Timers’ Lift as well as an excellent ski school. And intermediates will have more than enough to keep them busy; for example, the 10 blue runs on King Con Ridge.

This historic resort dates back to the silver mining boom of the late 19th century, and is open for an average of 5 months every year. Park City is well known for its groomed slopes, speedy 6-person chairlifts and for having one of the largest superpipes in the world! If you’re looking for an award-winning resort for skiers and snowboarders alike, this resort really fits the bill. It was voted a top-10 resort by SKI magazine readers and has earned the title of Transworld Snowboarding Terrain Park of the Year 4 years in a row!

Après-ski
Any rumour you might have heard of Mormon Utah being a ‘dry’ state will be well and truly quashed as you enjoy the lively après ski along Park City’s historic Main Street In Park City, ski vacations are about fun on AND off the slopes! There are more than 20 bars and private clubs (for which 1 person pays approximately $5/£2.50 for a 2-week membership and can bring in up to 5 friends – bargain!) where you can party or enjoy live jazz till 2am. Main Street is also well known for its great restaurants, from gourmet steakhouses to casual burger joints and Tex Mex.
