The entrance of this hotel is all natural stone and soothing wood panelling, perfectly conjuring up a giant Alpine-style retreat overlooking the picturesque Sierra mountain range and tranquil Lake Tahoe. Your rooms are generously sized and feature his and hers bathrooms and a sitting room to admire the views from the picture windows. Oh, and they’re also completely soundproofed, to ensure you get a great night’s sleep after a busy day on Heavenly’s spacious trails. That’s where the peace and quiet ends though. There’s so much to do in this immensely popular hotel from gambling in the huge casino to taking in one of the many fun shows to dining in some fabulous gourmet restaurants (or stuffing your face in the fantastic all-you-can-eat buffet!) that your holiday will zip by in a whirlwind of excitement!
