Loon Mountain, near Lincoln, is the ultimate getaway. Stylish slope-side accommodation and a modern, efficient resort make for a great holiday.
There are 5 mountains to choose from in New Hampshire and we have some great pre-bookable options to get you started. Book a multi mountain lift pass with us which allows you to ski at Waterville Valley, Cranmore, Bretton Woods, Loon and Cannon.
New Hampshire is one of the top US family resorts for ski and board and caters for kids of all ages. A wide range of alternatives to skiing are available including snowmobiling, ice skating and sleigh rides, great fun for all the family. All mountains offer great ski schools from 4 years of age with most mountains offering a pre-ski school programme for kids as young as 3 years, so all the family can hit the slopes! Kids get engaged and excited about skiing and riding whilst making new friends and it's only a matter of tie before they will be whizzing past you on the slopes!
Kid's tuition at Loon, Cannon, Waterville and Bretton Woods is available in resort to suit each age and ability. Cranmore Mountain Ski School can be pre-booked with us as part of your holiday package (additional cost applies) and is a must for any family skiing at Cranmore. This full-day programme offers a fantastic learning experience whilst having fun trying out new skills.

Terrain Breakdown for Loon Mountain

New Hampshire is the place for beginners to head. Excellent Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard packages are offered on all 5 mountains, with Cranmore particularly having a great reputation for getting newcomers going quickly.
An intermediate skier’s paradise, over 50% of the terrain across the 5 mountains comprises long, groomed trails. Tree-lined flattering cruisers complement steeper, exhilarating pistes, epitomised on Wildcat and Loon.
Experts will enjoy the range of black slopes and glade skiing on all mountains. Waterville Valley and Cannon and have a good proportion of these, with the latter now offering back-country skiing on Mittersill.
Every mountain has at least one full terrain park with half-pipe, ramps and rails. Freestyle terrain can be found at various points on the mountains, and the longer steep cruising trails are great for riding.
