Allocation and Upgrades
Virgin Holidays and Dollar Rent a Car want your holiday to be problem free
and for all our clients to fully understand the charges that may be payable.
One area that is VERY IMPORTANT to consider carefully is the size of your car.
The very nature of a ski holiday implies that there is a higher then normal
tendency to take more luggage. Skis, boots, bags and large suitcases mean that
the already smaller than UK boot sizes can lead to insufficient room for the
luggage and having to upgrade locally. It is much cheaper to make that decision
now and upgrade here. We have allocated you a vehicle according to your group size.
If you wish to upgrade to a larger car, then simply subtract the extra week/day price of the allocated car from the cost of the one selected.
*8V passenger vans are not available in Canada, Colorado or Utah. A 7V passenger van will be allocated to your party at these locations.

Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV)
We are again offering the choice of 'pre-purchasing' a 4-wheel drive Jeep
Cherokee (or similar). These are fun to drive and of course the extra manoeuverability
in snow conditions is very helpful. Please note: These are not available in Canada and are on a request and confirmation basis only.

CONDITIONS AND DETOURS. SNOW CHAINS MAY BE REQUIRED AND SHOULD BE REQUESTED
FROM DOLLAR RENT A CAR AT THE TIME YOU COLLECT YOUR CAR.
