General information
Aspen Mountain, the Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass make up the Aspen ski
area, which are all connected by a FREE and super-efficient bus service. Service
on the moutain is second to none with perfect grooming, good signposting, ski
hosts and FREE hot cider are just some of the treats on offer!
Beginners
Buttermilk Mountain is a favourite with beginners, boasting beautifully groomed gentle runs. Once you've progressed,
head to the easy slopes at Snowmass.
Intermediates
There is plenty for the intermediate with 'Big Burn' and 'Sam's Knob' in Snowmass
perhaps the best places to start. Longshot in Snowmass, a 3-mile forest trail,
is also recommended.
Advanced
Experts will enjoy all but Buttermilk Mountain. There are some great double
diamonds on Aspen Mountain plus high altitude tree line skiing for the brave!
Snowboarders
4 terrain parks feature a superpipe, rails, jumps, tabletops, hits and spines.
The Funnel Park is dedicated solely for beginners with others perfect for every
level of riding.
