General information
Heavenly is the highest and biggest of the mountains clustered around Lake
Tahoe, with amazing views. There’s lots of easy off-piste among trees,
and some big-time challenges for experts. Lake Tahoe is the snowboarding hub
of California too. The new high-speed gondola makes getting from your resort
to the slopes a cinch.
Beginners
Both the Nevada and California sides are accessible to novice skiers although the California side has some particularly nice gentle green runs and well-suited nursery slopes.
Intermediates
All the lifts at Heavenly access blue terrain so you can get anywhere on the mountain! Both Sierra and Northstar are covered by the interchangeable pass and have great terrain to challenge intermediates.
Advanced
Black runs are dotted all accross Heavenly. Squaw Valley, another ski area available on the interchangeable pass, has endless opportunities for experts to test themselves... plenty of steep slopes, big mogul fields and chutes.
Snowboarders
Heavenly has 3 terrain parks - one for every level of ability. You'll love Tahoe - as it's fast becoming the best resort for boarders on the West Coast!
