Converted from the old Boston Police Headquarters, an earnest and grand looking 1920s landmark, the clever use of illuminated glass for the lobby stairs transforms the interior of this incredible hotel in to a modern, breath of fresh air that couldn't be further from it's former intention. Unlike in the old days, your room won't be locked from the outside, although the furnishings are so comfortable and the decor so warm, you probably wouldn't mind. If you can drag yourself away, the location is great, being in the centre of Boston you really can make the most of this historical city on foot.
