Destination information
Lake Louise is one of the most famous sights in Banff National Park. A shimmering bowl of turquoise water overlooked by Victoria Glacier, her unearthly beauty is nothing less than astounding. The village itself is small and very peaceful indeed with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars. Summer activities include canoeing, fishing, hiking or relaxing in soothing hot springs. Golf enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with several 5-star courses whilst climbers are challenged to the max! A guided tour outside the park for a spot of heli-hiking is great fun.
