Virgin Holidays View
This lovely, locally-owned boutique hotel, named after the Canadian poet whose work inscribes the walls, was created in 2002 from two Old Montreal buildings dating from the 1840’s. Trendy and luxurious, the Nelligan effortlessly combines modern comfort with old world charm, capturing perfectly the ambience of this unique part of the world. For great views of the St Lawrence River, head on up to the rooftop terrace to relax with a coffee or cocktail. There’s also the Verses Bar – Art-rium, one of the places to be seen, serving an impressive range of drinks including the ‘General Manager’s Cocktail’ which is absolutely delicious! For fine dining, look no further than Verses Restaurant serving contemporary French cuisine in a graceful, modern setting. Mechant Boueff Bar-Brasserie has a more casual atmosphere not to mention British pub favourites on its menu!
