Virgin Holidays View
This French Chateau-style hotel was built in 1941 and named after the Right Honourable James Bruce, the 8th Earl of Elgin. Elegant and full of charm, it’s a wonderful place to rest in-between sightseeing, relaxing in guest rooms inspired by the Biedermeier tradition with antique furnishings, tall picture windows and luxury trimmings. Just across the road is Confederation Park and the National Arts Centre with other major attractions less than 6 blocks away. For unwinding there’s a fitness centre, open 24 hours and boasting state-of-the-art equipment. There’s also an extensive lap pool for keeping trim with adjoining whirlpool to chill out in afterwards. Grab a coffee to go from Starbucks or treat yourself to a sit down meal at Grill 41. Breakfast features an expansive buffet complete with made-to-order omelette station – the perfect way to kick-start your day! Lunch and dinner will also impress, admiring stunning views of the park as you feast on gourmet dishes.
