Having opened its doors to the world in 2010, the James New York offers the same level of comfort and luxury as its Chicago counterpart. Boasting plenty of natural light and space, it features artwork by prominent and up-and-coming local artists, reflecting the culturally rich neighbourhood it has the good fortune to reside in. Decorated in contemporary style with a 1970’s New York twist, it’s one of the hottest addresses in town serving cocktails and snacks into the early hours. The swimming pool, open during high season, is also on the rooftop and a great place to soak up the sounds of the city below as well as the sun of course! For gourmet dining, look no further than the hotel’s own restaurant, run by celebrity chef David Burke. The focus is very much on wholesome and hearty modern American food, locally sourced and presented in his trademark whimsical fashion. Blending the cool, industrial simplicity of an airy loft with the rustic warmth of a country barn, enjoy a drink first in the Treehouse Bar, also serving homemade sweet and savoury ‘pop tarts’ before entering the main dining room with its glass walls for views into the kitchen and wine cave.

Located at the corner of Thompson and Grand amidst the old cobbled streets of SoHo. For short journeys, hop on-board the James Pedicab, a complimentary service running between 2pm-8pm on Fridays and 2pm-10pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
