Destination information
Drenched in history, the people are gracious with Southern hospitality, a benchmark for the rest of the world. Antebellum mansions, Civil War battlefields, sun-drenched beaches and natural splendours are just some of the attractions, along with a thriving music scene that has launched some of the world's finest entertainers. There are also world-class sports facilities, plus fantastic restaurants and shops.

New Orleans effortlessly combines charming antique shops with more upscale stores such as Saks, Gucci and Brooks Brothers. In Tennessee and Charleston there are huge malls selling every kind of bargain you can think of!

Louisiana has Cajun and Creole cuisine with specialities such as gumbo, spicy seafood, blackened redfish, shrimp remoulade, po-boys and much more.
