Days 1-5: Las Vegas and the ranch
Your very special flight starts from your Las Vegas hotel, where you would have been for 4 nights at the Luxor (see page 166). You'll be picked up and taken to your jetcopter's take-off pad. Then it's up, up and away over the glamour and glitz of Las Vegas towards the natural beauty of the surrounding desert and the majesty of Music Mountains on the Grand Canyon Plateau. During the flight, to a combination of music and narration, you'll fly over the historic Hoover Dam, which used enough concrete to build a 6-lane highway coast-to-coast across the USA. You'll pass over the dark blue waters of Lake Mead before descending 1,500ft into the depths of the Grand Canyon itself. You'll be in awe at the close-up spectacle of this amazing place, with its towering rock formations and vivid, ever-changing colours. Next, the copter whizzes you to the private Grand Canyon Ranch for an authentic cowboy experience. You can take an optional horse ride (local charge) through the Joshua Tree Forest, enjoying the surrounding wildlife and scenery before returning to your authentic ranch accommodation where you can soak in pure spring water in an authentic cowboy bathtub. After dinner, enjoy campfire entertainment under the stars before retiring to your authentic cabin or teepee.
Day 6: Homeward Bound
After a hearty ranch breakfast, you board your luxury helicopter back to Las Vegas - enjoying a final swoop along The Strip to see all those amazing sights from the air! Then head to the airport for your Virgin Atlantic flight back to the UK.

- 4 nights' accommodation at the Luxor
- Round-trip helicopter flight from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon Ranch via Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, and a descent below the rim of the Grand Canyon. Return flight includes a cruise down The Strip
- 1 night's accommodation in a genuine cabin or authentic teepee. Each cabin is private and sleeps up to either 2 or 4 persons
- Campfire with cowboy entertainment
- 2 Western-style cuisine meals including dinner and breakfast
- Las Vegas hotel transfers extras Bar drinks and horse riding. Luggage can be stored at the Heli USA base at the airport.
Self-drive Option
If you want to enjoy an overnight stay at the ranch, but will be driving yourself there (the ranch is only 2 hours 30 min away from Las Vegas), please refer to the Grand Canyon Overnight Escape By Car price panel. The price does not include the round-trip helicopter flight from Las Vegas or hotel transfers, but DOES include a 25-min helicopter flight below the rim of the Grand Canyon. day excursions to the ranch
