Grand Canyon National Park - Lake Powell

Stop at Desert View in the morning and see the Canyon bathed in the early light. As you journey further today, you will enter the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the trading post of Cameron. Continue through the painted dessert to tour Monument Valley, an area that embodies the iconic images of the American West. In the afternoon, you will visit the town of Page, where you will see the mighty Glen Canyon Dam and enjoy stunning views of Lake Powell with its crystal-blue waters and towering red-rock canyon walls.

Las Vegas - Mammoth Lakes
1 night's accommodation at Mammoth Mountain Inn/Holiday Inn Visalia (Winter) or from 01 Apr '12 Four Points by Sheraton (Winter)

Yosemite National Park - San Francisco
1 night's accommodation at Holiday Inn Golden Gateway
Make an early start this morning, crossing the Oakland Bay Bridge to arrive in San Francisco in time to make the most of all this lovely gentle city has to offer. Enjoy a morning tour of the 'city by the bay' and then you can go off and explore at your own leisure - what will you choose to do? There are shops galore, maybe see a show, hop on a ferry across to the infamous Alcatraz or just ride the iconic cable cars to your heart's content. Alas, tomorrow is time to fly home.
**Winter Routing The Tioga Pass may be closed due to weather or road conditions, in which case you will overnight in Fresno or Visalia and a visit to Mammoth Lakes will not be possible (winter routing applies to all departures between October and May under normal snow conditions).
