Itinerary and Sailing Dates 2008
Sun: Vancouver, Canada
5.30pm: This afternoon, it's time to acquaint yourself with your 13-storey gleaming cruise ship, on which you'll be spending the next 8 days.
Mon: Inside Passage, Alaska
Head north through the maze of islands that make up Alaska's renowned Inside Passage. Look out for the marine and bird life, with everything from whales and sea lions to majestic bald eagles!
Tue: Ketchikan, Alaska
6.00am: Once the 'salmon capital of the world', this quaint town sits between the waters of the Tongass Narrows and the breathtakingly steep forests of Deer Mountain. Or, you can simply sit back and relax in one of Creek Street's pavement cafés.
Wed: Juneau, Alaska
7.00am: Alaska's capital is one of America's most beautiful cities. Take a tram ride to the top of Mount Roberts for spectacular views. Visit Tracy Arm Fjord, surrounded by 7,000ft-high snow-capped peaks and setting for the famous Sawyer Glacier.
Thu: Skagway, Alaska
7.00am: Between 1897-1898, Skagway grew from 1 log cabin to a town of 20,000 after gold was discovered in them there hills! Take a ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route railway where fortunes were made and lost.
Fri/Sat: Inside Passage, Alaska
Heading back south, it's your chance to spot some more of the extensive wildlife and stunning scenery this area has to offer.
Sun: Vancouver
7.00am: Arrive back at your final destination to disembark.
Staterooms
Inside Staterooms (9 rooms, category K) have 2 lower beds* TV, fridge, safe and a sitting area. En-suite facilities include a bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
Ocean View Staterooms have the same facilities as above and a window (50 rooms, category GG) or picture window (30 rooms, category FF).
Ocean View Staterooms with balcony (8 rooms, category BD) have the same facilities as an Inside Stateroom, as well as floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which open onto a private balcony.
*Lower beds can be converted to a queen-size double bed.
